Starry Night Montage and New Theme

This theme certainly brought out the creative juices, didn't it? And wasn't it fun how many of you were inspired by Don McLean's song? It is such a classic, isn't it? In fact, we have a coffee shop here with the same name as this theme. One of its interior walls had a local artist's ode to Van Gogh's mastery where instead of hills, mountains were added as were other local landmarks. I always loved this mural — so fitting for what was a wonderfully cozy coffee shop, but sadly, after so many years there, the art was taken down when the ownership changed hands. Along with it, the coffee shop's customer service went rapidly down as well so now there's less reason to go there, even with its admittedly excellent downtown locale. However, let me show you below part of that original mural, for good measure. I think youll enjoy it:

OK, as we draw into the holidays, let's keep the cozy going and get into our warm MITTENS during next fortnight, shall we? See you back here on or before Tuesday, Dec 11th then. Thank you! :)

ONLY posts that clearly follow the simple guidelines will be included or commented on, in interest of time and so on. Thank you.)

  7. This collage just blends together so well. Thank you Mr T.

Why would someone want to remove such a great rendition of Van Gogh, at least they could have taken a photograph and hung that, especially with the inclusion of the local landmarks.
