Seasons Change.

As one chapter ends, another begins. Creative Tuesdays seems to have run its course and I'm ready for something new! I'm throwing a scribble picnic and am asking all of you, past and present, to please join me in this new art co-op, being hosted on my blog. To help launch it, I'm offering a fabulous giveaway with lots of chances for extra entries. Just scurry on over and read the details now so you don't miss out on anything! (The first picnic theme will be announced next week.)

Let me just end this with giving a massive heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have played along here, adding your artwork and/or kind words along the way. Like with every co-op, it's only ever as good as its members and whatever you put into it, so I'm stuffing my basket with ideas and looking forward to our first meetup. Roll up your sleeves and join the fun! :)

When/if you join Scribble Tuesday, please update your side bar icon from CT's to this one. Thank you.

  1. This sounds like a fun idea Michael. I just loved being part of the Creative Tuesday's journey but these latter months I have found difficult, probably as you say chapters come to an end. In the early days it did really get my creative juices going and I so enjoyed each challenge. Thank you for all the hard work and wonderful support you gave to each of us over the years, and wish you every success with this co-op. I will certainly be adding the new link to my blog and taking part.

    1. Yes, I get you, totally. :) thank you and so happy to see your comment here as well as on my blog. Thank you for your interest in the new meetup/co-op. I think it will be simpler and even allows people to see the themes ahead of time since sometimes we likely have to pick and choose which ones to spend time on as it's hard to get them all done but of course, as the host, I have that extra challenge....which I need! :) I'm so looking forward to it and hope ppl feel that work does not need to be complete, could jsut be sketchbook like, exploring the idea with pen or pencil. :) I plan to keep themes much simpler this time to help gainmaybe some more of an intl audience. We shall see. It seems to be liked on my twitter announcement.

Do please let me know if you do any of the bullets above so I can enter you in to the drawing accordingly. I will ship to anywhere! :)

    2. Thank you for your kind words above too, btw. Much appreciated. I think CT served a great purpose for many of us and definitely helped me through some challenging times. While some chapters close and can be savoured, it's exciting reading new book and who doesn't love a picnic or sketchbooks, for that matter? ! :)

  2. Michael, this sounds really fun! I love the idea of themes being posted ahead of time. Great!

Life has thrown me a few obstacles lately, but I'm hoping things get better and I can get back to painting and Scribbling more!

I've updated my sidebar to link to your new meetup page! So happy you are hosting this! Thank you.

    1. Thanks for letting me know. One entry to the drawing down for you. I do hope you join us at the picnic. I really think it is going to be fun and, yes, for ppl super busy, knowing the themes ahead of time might help others figure out which ones they can make time for or not. I'm loving the one I just did for Octopus, must say, even if I do say so myself. lol. See you on Wednesday there! :)
