Montage of Curls and New Theme

Finally! Yes, sorry, delayed with getting things in order for a move, among other events and longer days with work, to boot.

It certainly looks like we covered CURLS pretty well, wouldn't you say? Thank you again to each of you who took the time to squeeze this in. (I know it was a shorter week.) Great job! Oh, and, of course, welcome, Niina — our newest contributor! :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know, speaking of jobs, a part of mine involves testing different versions/models and so in that vein, I'd like to try something different, and with my move this weekend, this is as good a time as any! :) How about we go MONTHLY for a while? Let's see if it makes any difference either to the number of us returning or added for the first time, or, for that matter, in allowing each of us, myself in particular, more time to work up pieces for the given themes. If you fellow co-oppers don't like it and want to return to weekly or bi-weekly do let me know on the next round please! Thank you.

So, with that in mind, and it already being Thursday now, how about we explore for this September BIRDS of a FEATHER? I'm sure this curious phrase can conjure up all sorts of interpretations. Let's see what we come up with! And, relax — we've got until September 25th. Just please don't forget about your lil' co-op in the meantime! :) (Meanwhile, if I can, I may even publish some work in progress.)

(* As always, please feel free to first read CREATIVE TUESDAYS Guidelines, Rules & FAQ —especially if new here— for keeping consistency and brand ID on our co-op and with respect to all those who contribute here. ONLY posts that clearly follow the simple guidelines will be included or commented on, in interest of time and so on. Thank you.)

  1. Mmm the collage is very nice. So many lovely curls.

I like the new time frames, and the new theme. All of us get busy this time of year, and I like the idea of having more time, and even, like yourself..maybe add a work in progess from time to time.

Good luck with all the moving and getting things sorted out.

Let's see...Birds of a Feather...Betsy would love this one.. HaHa.

  5. Another fun collage! I like the monthly idea...perhaps it will help me become a more regular contributor again; I have just had too much going on and painting fell by the wayside. Alas.

  9. This is so beautiful, I miss C.T. so much! I have not forgotten, but have been so swamped with a deadline recently I've been remiss in my own art making, and posting on the group blogs like this one that I love so. The swirls on this are beautiful. I love everyone's work, the blue adorned fairy, the cat and mouse, and all of the trees! I will go in and look individually at everyone's great work :-D And Mister Toast, I am happy if you need to do monthly for a while! You are the captain of this illustrated ship, and what you say goes :-D Good luck with your move, and I look forward to the September posting! *waves to you and all other great C.T. people*

  11. I tried 5 times to post a comment on Nina's blog, but the verification was very difficult to read, and it never worked. Sorry, Nina's entry was very nice with it rich dark colors, and the fall entry too.
