I Love September... (#89)

...because of the quaking Aspens turning in abundance this time of year, shimmering so beautifully, like golden coins. Whenever I see them, I know that snow is not too far behind. Oftentimes, we're lucky enough to witness the huge expanse of the Rockies snow-capped on a glorious Autumnal day against a bright big blue sky, making for that perfect backdrop to an outrageous display of golden hue. In fact, I've even been lucky enough to occasionally see Aspen leaves fall during a light snowfall whilst up in the high country. It's can be quite surreal watching that flutter of Aspen leaves floating down among feathers from heaven... and all while still relatively warm too, I might add! :)

    1. You know, Lissa? I actually thought of your art style whilst drawing this then colouring it. Reminds me of your stuff, although albeit not nearly as decorative or detailed! :)

Well, never mind about not making it in this time around, I do hope you get to join us next time around.
