New Theme for September 10th is...

You see, I did it! I completed the last theme this time around...just as temps started climbing up again and September seems pushed back just that lil' bit farther. Never mind though, it's sure to come, and I couldn't be happier. Goodbye heat!

With that, how about we look at what we're doing next? Does this pic give you any ideas? You know, as the guidelines state, one can always do embroidery or stitching too. I'm enamoured when anyone is bold enough to take on that exhausting medium with all the attention and perseverance it requires! As it is, I think this rendition is just adorable as can be...

So, have you figured out the theme yet? As many of you make your entries here into cards you then turn around and sell, I thought that perhaps we all could get a head start and have fun with Pun'kins! Yes, pumpkin days may be a little ways off, and I doubt in fact I'd ever even buy one, but this is our opportunity to carve out some time and think a la Linus in the pumpkin patch, awaiting the Great Pumpkin himself! Lol. (I'm such a sucker for classic old Peanuts cartoons!)

Thank you again to each of you who explored September with us. Now come and enjoy Autumn further — a few months early.

(* As always, please feel free to first read CREATIVE TUESDAYS Guidelines, Rules & FAQ —especially if new here— for keeping consistency and brand ID on our co-op and with respect to all those who contribute here. ONLY posts that clearly follow the simple guidelines will be included or commented on, in interest of time and so on. Thank you.)

  6. Dropped by again. Summer got in the way but I have been painting. The one I submitted is from last year's pumpkin harvest. It is a watercolour batik on rice paper.

    1. Thank you Janis, it's a lovely painting. Gorgeous in fact but please follow the guidelines to list this. As it doesn't identify CT or follow any of the guidelines, I'm taking the link off.

  7. Like Christine, I too, thought you were going to say embroidery. I held my breath until I got to the word 'pun'kins'; then, 'Phew!' thought I!
So happy to have been mistaken. :o)

  8. Don't think we're going to get a fall this year! Don't think I ever saw a pumpkin when I was a child in England either. I enjoyed doing this prompt. Took me out of comfort zone. :)
