FOUND OBJECT ART: In Praise of the PRETZEL

CHEEZ-IT Snack Mix provided the inspiration this time around, of all things. Yes, who knew this little pretzel would serve me so well? Perhaps a bit too well?! Well, you see, umm... I have to confess.... poor lil' turtle no longer has his shell! I know, I know, bad, bad, bad,but it was oh so crunchy good. I tried to stop with those pretzel sticks but it was no use! :)

So, how's your interpretive found object art coming along? I'll look at them all and comment later tonight. Thank you. BTW, if you haven't done anything yet, there's still bags of time by tonight. This, after all, will be one of the fastest themes offered up this year, so hop on board.

  2. HaHa....I decided not to use food, as I couldn't stop eating them. I started with almonds, but they were to good to leave on a piece of paper. I'm with you Mmm...the turtle is adorable and his shell, just too darn good not to eat. Loved this them. It did stretch my box....didn't even use watercolor.

  3. so very cute! another food idea which I wish I have thought to use food.

I couldn't quite finish mine but I've posted it anyway. I'm thinking you should make CT three weeks instead of two as I always seem not to have time. oh well...

hope you have a great day.

    1. I would love three weeks but unlike you I think most of us rush this last minute, even with two weeks. I likely will do 3 when the holidays really kick into gear but am always concerned more people will forget as the time progresses. LOL. So glad you posted anyway. thank you Lissa. Can't wait to look at your entry. you rock!

  6. You can't leave the turtle with no shell, just open another packet! Fun interpretation and another character to add to your menagerie. It has been amazing to see what everyone has come up with, just so much creative imagination in this group.
