NEW Theme for August 27th is...

Oh dear me, how embarrassing. Bad, bad, bad. Can't believe I spaced out the due date on the FOREST theme! Just glad the rest of you didn't! Sorry. Too many things going on and unexpected drama to take care of too after an epic car journey and momentous vaca to CA! Well, as it is, I'm looking forward to seeing each one of your pieces in the next few days, catching up, and leaving comments. Thank you, all, for playing along. I hope you kept the co-op alive and well w/o me, interacting with each other, etc. After all, it's YOUR co-op too, as much as you want it to be, anyway. Remember, I'm always up to theme ideas too, should any of you ever want to submit an idea ahead of time for me to slot in somewhere down the road.

Thanks again for each of you who play along and make the time when able, even if you just pop in every other time. Each entry is appreciated and valued. I love to see the variety here and trust you do too. :)

OK, so for the next theme, no visual to get our wheels turning as it could depict pretty much anything — all dependent on how you interpret this phase: I Love SEPTEMBER because.... Now, if you DON'T actually love this next month then perhaps just focus on what SEPTEMBER means to you. Hope you enjoy! Should be kind of fun, no?

(* As always, please feel free to first read CREATIVE TUESDAYS Guidelines, Rules & FAQ —especially if new here— for keeping consistency and brand ID on our co-op and with respect to all those who contribute here. ONLY posts that clearly follow the simple guidelines will be included or commented on, in interest of time and so on. Thank you.)

UPDATE
I wanted to make sure to give a special shout out and welcome to our newest contributor, Grace, with her enchanting forest. :) Oh, and Lissa missed the cut off deadline but you just have to (please) check out her dreamy piece too. Thank you.

OK, checked out all your pieces for FOREST and what a great theme it was too. LOVE the additions. I hope each of you took the time to visit eachother and enjoy the various contributions. They really are great. :)

    1. hee. That's a fun way to put it. Thanks for pointing that out. I try to keep up on our twinkle toes as much as possible whilst making it fun too--not boring and predictable themes but not too hard too.

  3. Sounds like you've really experienced a "slice" of life this month. Were you near Southern CA? I like September, will be changing my house decoration for the Fall season. Good theme.

    1. Actually, Northern CA--near El Dorado (East of Sac) and up in Muir Woods, Stinson Beach area for a day too as well as visiting some people in San Jose. Speaking of So. CAL, my 21 year old daughter just moved there (San Diego), the day after I got back, to be closer to her recent/current BF -- an injured marine with 3 amputations (Afghanistan) and only 2 fingers. So sad. He is an amazing guy and does so well having gone through so much in the last 4 years. (She knew him in highschool but they lost touch). Quite teh story adn challenge but she loves him.
